Adsense Publishers and those who are into making of content websites for the display of advertisements all recognize the importance of unique content and specially written articles containing high paying keywords which are then put up as webpages.

That is why it is not a surprise to see a plethora of new software purporting to help morph or twist articles, or private label right articles that you can purchase from any source and then subject it to the manipulative actions of the software to generate hundreds of different articles.

But then how good are their “morphing” or “twisting” abilities?

The first thing to know is that any software you use must be seen as a tool to help you write your articles or to re-write your articles in different ways. These tools must never be treated as software that will take over the task of intelligent re-writing on automatic. These tools are considered as time-savers, and helpers to assist to give you synonyms, paraphasing, similar words and so on to help you form new ways of re-expressing yourself and therefore re-writing an article.

Any other way to look at it will result in you having a disappointed view because the result of so called auto-rewriting will fail to impress in most cases.

There are some software that allow you to manipulate whole sections of whatever article that you have written before. This is by way of a series of guided steps involving highlighting different parts of the article and adding in synonyms, then highlighting whole blocks of phrases to change the phrases and so on. As a result, the end article is a more intelligble article. However, there is the writer’s involvement. Manual work is required to use the software with its tools to re-write the article.

Some software are in their basic form - allowing you to add on prewritten snippets at the introduction of the article, at the center of the article and at the end of the article before your resource box.

The use of such softwares at the basic level seldom impresses, because the addition of these snippets are merely to add padding to the article, which are not genuine meaningful content. They add on to the wordiness of the article, increasing their word count and do nothing much more.

There is no short cut to writing your own well crafted articles, and to learn the art of article writing. Use all these new tools as what they are best suited for- as tools to help you re-write parts of your articles, and not as auto generating tools for the entire article. Consider them as time savers and not the ultimate software to generate content for you mindlessly.

Those two simple words and the date are important because what I am about to reveal could change your life.

In July 2001 I attended an all day seminar in London which set me on a journey which is only now coming to some sort of conclusion. Yes it’s taken 5 years. If you are interested in making your name on the internet you won’t have to go through the same trauma.

The seminar was all about a so called business opportunity.

We were shown how to do business online and the basis was about re-sale rights products. We were granted the rights to 25 products as part of the deal. I really saw the great potential opportunities. It really blew me away.

It was a costly seminar and in the intervening years I have spent a lot of money trying to do business on the web. I created a web site. No traffic, no sales!

I bought books on selling online, search engines, keywords, affiliate programs, ezines, autoresponders, you name it, I’ve got it. All on the shelf above my head as I write this.

If only I had known what I now know. You’ve heard that before.

Well I don’t mind admitting I have enjoyed the chase but it has taken some sticking with. I don’t like to be beaten and at long last by submitting articles I am making progress and starting to make a little money.

I have a good site, a growing list of subscribers to my Business Bulletin and the number of site visitors has started to increase rapidly since I started to submit articles to the article directories.

In the last three months it has all come together and in my mind I now have a clear plan for the way ahead which is simple.

If you are going to do business of any sort you have to be able to present yourself well. In person and in the written word. Online the written word is paramount. This is where it all starts but I suspect that is where it may end for some.

I remember school where writing a composition was a drudge. I hated it. Didn’t know what to write about and couldn’t write anyway.

In my working life I had to master getting it down in writing, usually with the help of secretaries, but some reports had to be hand written so I have had chance to practice. Style is another matter and I am aware that I get into heavy business speak too easily. Please forgive that.

My point is there is no need to let the writing be an obstacle if you want to start an online business. You can learn how to create articles on your favourite topics and submit them to article directories so that you get published all over the internet.

You can make money with your articles. No need even for a web site.

Write your Style

A writer said: “All authors are like mounds of literature. They grow from the light of the ancient.” But is true that all writers are copycats?

Not really. You might have a favorite author, or another writer would have influenced your work. But one thing is clear: no one in this universe is your equal. You are unique.

That means your writing style has to be different from mine. It is for this reason that an editor at Random House who saw a typed copy of The Thirty-Nine Steps as a new book had no difficulty in likening it to the style of Jerzy Kosinski. But sad enough, he didn’t know it really was the author’s book.

When you speak in a foreign voice, a discerning listener would have no difficulty recognizing you as a hypocrite. In the same way, when you borrow another author’s style, a good reader will equally know that you are masquerading. And that is not good enough for you.

Promote your book before and after publication

The best time to begin your book’s promotion is when you start writing it. This is the right time for you to make use of some of the promotional options discussed earlier in this book. This means that you can start your media adverts, book reviews, and the serialization of your story. Then keep record of contacts from readers and bookstore owners who are interested in your work. Send them a press release as soon as your book is released and see the response that you will get.

This book that you are reading started that way when it was first published as an e-book. When the author contacted his initial list of potential buyers after the book’s release, he had tremendous response. Why don’t you do the same? If it worked for him, it will work for you.
Pre-release publicity has helped writers sell tremendously when their books were made available to the public. For instance, Tom Wolfe’s book, A Man In Full sold over a million copies before anyone could say Jack Robinson.

But do not just promote your book. HYPE IT! That is what they all do. Let them know that your book is the greatest thing to happen in the world in this millennium. Tell them that your work will make writers like Tom Clancy, John Grisham, Tom Wolfe, Salman Rushdie, and J.K. Rowling look like Lilliputians. You won’t be docked for perjury.

The fact is that people will believe anything as much as they hear it often. Ask advertisers. And then on the date of your book’s release, readers will queue up before book stores to behold the Brobdingnagian of English literature.

Time your book’s release

It is better to tie in your book’s release to an event. The last quarter of the year (Sept. —Dec.) is the best time to do so. The reason is that at this time, booksellers stock their stores for the expected mass yuletide sales while friends use this period to buy books and give their friends.
J.K. Rowling chose to release her Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in the midnight of June 21, 2004. There could have been no better time than that witching hour. And before children in an English spelling class could spell best-seller the book has sold over 5 million copies making it the fastest and biggest selling book in the world! Even if Rowling topples her record in the next series, why not publish your best-seller and overturn the record.
