Treadmill exercise tips
Squats are another treadmill exercise used to build strength. Squats focus on the thighs and the butt. When performing squats you will need to have your treadmill turned off. Rest your hands on the front rail and lower your butt as though you are sitting in a chair. Don’t surpass your toes with your knees. Continue by pressing onto your heels and then stand back up. It is recommended that beginners should repeat the process about twelve times. As you become more comfortable with the exercise you can begin doing it twenty four times and then thirty six times. Try and not to move along to quickly though.
It is recommended that you cool down after each treadmill workout for at least five minutes. To do this simply slow down the treadmill’s speed to two and a half to three and a half miles per hours and walk for three minutes. Once again slow down the speed again to around one and a half to two and a half miles per hour and walk for two more minutes. You can easily find more treadmill workouts in books, online, on television and on DVDs. If you are unsure about something you can always try visiting a local gym in your area.
